Brooke loves Momo’s Passion Fruit Cheesecake. Actually, we both love it and fight over the last bites. She requires me to order two because we aren’t good at sharing this dessert. The taste and consistency remind us of a dreamy cheesecake on Maui we had a few years ago.

Brooke loves the peanut butter cookies from @thechocodc ! Her favorite part is that it’s made with chunky peanut butter. I do love the chocolate as well ‑ for different items though (almond poppyseed cake and the chocolate cookie sandwiches).

Brooke’s donut preference has been a wonder to watch. It started with a deep obsession with the vanilla vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles, then it turned to the vanilla vanilla cake with peanuts. Now it’s the chocolate chocolate cake with rainbow sprinkles 🤷‍♂️. I love Banbury too (maple bar, cinnamon crumb, and vanilla vanilla cake with peanuts).

Brooke likes three specific dishes from this Sandy original ‑ 1) Phoenix Chicken 2) Szechuan pork 3) Honey walnut shrimp. I am not a lover but not a hater of this place. It’s quality but I’ve drifted from this style of Chinese in favor of Asian fusions.

Brooke gets the jalepeno philly and tops it with Vito’s white jalepeno sauce. This is a place we both agree on and try to catch when we’re in Bountiful on a weekday lunch.

Getting Yanni’s is a family tradition for Brooke ‑ they’ve been going for YEARS. Her faves are the chicken souvlaki or the lamb gyro with tzaziki sauce. I was introduced to this place when I went to the U. I always liked this place but not something I would choose on my own.

Brooke loves the BLT, Bacon cheeseburger, and fries from Crown Burgers. She is one that likes the pickle bits in the fry sauce. I agree with Brooke’s love for the Crown except I always get the pastrami burger. They have some of my favorite fries. Yum.

Brooke tries to claim that I only started liking sushi after meeting her… may partly be true. One reason is that we can both agree on Tsunami. She loves the Cococabana, Executive Suite, and BTC rolls. I agree with both of these rolls ‑ great flavors.

Brooke loves takeout Bombay house because it’s just as good warmed up and you don’t get the smell in your clothes. She loves chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. I completely agree with this choice but she orders it medium/hot… and I like mild because it’s all about the flavor for me with tikka masala.

When we lived near Hectors it was a very frequent stop. Brooke loves the carne asada burrito and pickled veggies. I liked hectors but never found something I loved. I’ve always known it as a superb post‑skiing stop.
