Donut Eating Contests

I can’t eat a dozen donuts… and I don’t think most people can down an entire dozen of delicious and sugary rings. Yet, most eating competitions are about volume and speed. BIG volume. Even when the competition is lowered to six Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, it’s still too much for the average person.

 

Donut Eating for All

So, what about having an eating contest that most can reasonably compete in? I’m starting the Single Krispy Kreme Doughnut Eating Competition. This is going to be quick! Like 5 seconds or less quick. I haven’t yet witnessed someone finishing it under 5 seconds, but like the 5 minute mile, someone will blow through this time. We’re going to use the hashtag #KrispyKremeSingleDoughnut . Why Krispy Kreme Doughnuts?

Krispy Kreme donuts are so consistent and they are found all over the world. Regardless if you’re near a shop, Krispy Kremes are found in grocery stores and convenience stores too. The easiest way to make sure it was fair was to find the most widely consumed donut. So, grab you some glazed donuts and see how you can record the fastest time. Make sure to follow the rules below!

 

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Eating Competition Rules

Like all good and fair competitions, rules are needed!
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Competition Rules
  1. A plain glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnut will be used.
  2. The doughnut will not be warmed up or otherwise modified.
  3. Doughnut to be placed on the table in front of the contestant.
  4. Contestant will not have anything in their mouth before time starts.
  5. Time starts when contestant touches the donut with their hand.
  6. No utensils allowed.
  7. Dipping is not allowed.
  8. Drinking a beverage is allowed.
  9. Time ends when contestant shows an empty mouth.
  10. Contestants will be filmed with a clock showing hundredths of a second visible to verify video tampering does not occur (send, tag, or otherwise send me your entry).
  11. Winner will be determined by the shortest time consumed.
