Sweetest Dreams, a bedtime story in the donut book series.

I am so excited to announce the launch of Donut Critic’s third donut book, Sweetest Dreams! Have you read my other two books?

It’s been a year of hard work to put a fun and meaningful story together. I mixed it up a bit and put a pause on rhyming but kept with a positive message to help better ourselves. This time it’s about working hard and getting good sleep.

Writing from the insomniac perspective that I know too well, I wanted to help kids wind down before bedtime. I’ve struggled getting settled and ready for bed. I hope that this can help at least one little donut lover know it’s time for sleep. Do you know anyone that struggles with sleep? Recommend this book!

Short description of Sweetest Dreams:

It was such a busy day at Darla’s Donut Village. She shared so many sweet treats with customers. Darla sits down for a little rest but ends up falling asleep! Who will clean and get the bakery ready for the next day? Glaze and his friends help Darla clean up by using their carbs for energy and get the bakery to sparkle. Choco starts to get sleepy. He’s had some crazy things happen when he gets tired. He once thought a dog was going lick off all his frosting. The donuts learn the importance of getting sleep for good mental health. They say good night to the whole shop and turn off all the lights. The book ends as Glaze wishes everyone “Sweetest Dreams!”
