Top Cinnamon Rolls In Utah

I’ve been on a mission to find the top cinnamon rolls in Utah for 2 years. I’m always looking for new rolls but this is where we’re at right now. I can only eat so many but I’ve had them from a ton of shops! Let me know if I’m missing any!!

Not pictured that rank well (I need to do a post on them to have them show on the list):

  • Midway Bakery on Main
  • Mama Lakes Bakery
  • Village Baker

Don’t know who I am? See why I’m the “Donut Critic.”

NO. 1

Eva’s Bakery

My favorite part about this roll is the plethora of places that you flavor. The crispy shell, the nuts in the swirl, the caramelized bottom, and delicious frosting make for an amazing cinnamon roll. I dream about this roll often.

NO. 2

Thirst/Dotties Kolaches

See that caramelized sugar on the bottom? Amazing. Brooke loves that these are served with icing instead of cream cheese frosting but I can go both ways.

NO. 3

Messy Bun Bakery

These were only available for special order or at the Provo Farmers Market. I have been trying to get these back on the market because they were amazing.

NO. 4

Parson’s Bakery

Scroll through the post pics to see the cinnamon roll. A top 5 roll for me because of amazing flavor throughout.

NO. 5

Backdoor Bakery

This cinnamon roll skillet is served hot and dripping with caramel and nuts. If you’re eating it at the bakery then it’s on of the best rolls I’ve tasted.

NO. 6

Swirls Cinnamon Rolls

These are only available for delivery. I really liked the flavor of the dough. They are a bit heavy but delicious pans of glory.

NO. 7

Shirley’s Bakery

These cinnamon rolls are light, fluffy, and subtle. I can eat three without thinking. I would love these if there was more cinnamon and varying textures.

NO. 8

Muddy Bee’s Bakery

The gem of Hurricane, UT. I really loved these swirly rolls. You can get them with cream cheese or icing which is a huge plus. A must when I’m in Southern Utah.

NO. 9

Lehi Bakery

This isn’t a picture of their cinnamon roll, but Brooke claims this as her favorite cinnamon roll. Super delicious ‑ something you would expect from Lehi Bakery.

NO. 10

Wallaby’s

The biggest roll I’ve had. It feeds a family of four. I thought the ration of dough to cinnamon was spot on. The only thing that would take it to the top would be a cream cheese frosting.

NO. 11

Straw Market

I heard a lot of hype for these cinnamon rolls at Straw Market. They’re good ‑ I would choose to have a bit more sugar between the swirls because the bitter cinnamon was too present.

NO. 12

Summit Inn Pizza Co.

These cinnamon doodles are mini delights. They serve them hot and you dip them in the frosting. I went above and beyond.

NO. 13

Prison Rolls

These are no longer available but worth noting because they were loved and there are copycat recipes out there you can use to recreate these infamous cinnamon rolls.
